"For This Moment" Snowflake Ornament 2005

For this moment. We were created for a special purpose in God's Kingdom for this moment. Uniquely formed, specifically created, beautiful in every dimension: perfectly suited to the eternal purpose He has for you for this moment. This is the inspirational thought and expression that we prayerfully considered and hoped to convey when designing this 2nd in our annual series of Snowflake Ornaments.
As with all our Snowflakes, this year’s “For This Moment” Snowflake for 2005 is designed to celebrate our brief moments together with family and loved ones during the holidays, blessings from above remind us that our time with those nearest to our heart passes as quickly as a snowflake melts in our hands.
After the original art was conceived, sketched, and then drafted, each bead and opening in this design was hand sculpted, one-at-the-time, as was every other detail of this snowflake. Each piece of porcelain is gently coaxed from one step to another in the hand-crafting process as it gradually takes shape, being refined into its final image over the course of a few days, many loving hands, and a large dose of heat!
The package has a background geometric repeating pattern faintly below the typographical information unique to all of our snowflake gift ornament designs. Each package box has a scripture hidden under the front flap . . . a surprise gift to the recipient . . . that says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. - Ephesians 2:8"
This Snowflake Gift Ornament is titled “For This Moment”. The poetry on back of package box says: "Blessings from above reminding us that our time with those nearest to our heart passes as quickly as a snowflake melts in our hands." The Scripture on side of package box says "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. - James 1:17" The Backstamp for this design is "For This Moment @2005" . This snowflake gift ornament measures 4″ diameter and has Item# SF4M. And inside each box is a "missionary card" that extends an invitation to a relationship with God through his Son Jesus Christ with links to further information to help in the journey of faith that begins with an understanding of His great love and our great need.

This larger "gift ornament" has a tie tack pin backing system which accomplishes two main objectives:
1. To affix the item securely in its gift package
2. To permit creative visual display with ribbons, bows, package ties, streamers, display stands, and other techniques which may not otherwise be possible without the tie tack affixed to the back of the ornament.
The tie tack and related pin backing are not noticed when the item is used in a traditional Christmas tree presentation.
It should be noted that our ornaments are delicate porcelain keepsakes, meant to capture and commemorate important moments and as such, they are not a toy and not for use by, and should be kept out of reach of, small children.
